Meeting Schedule

Our meetings are held every Tuesday at 7pm in the Hindu Prayer Room (Rockefeller Chapel). We start each meeting by singing shlokas and bhajans, and then we take part in a weekly activity; examples of past activities include mediation, reading selections from Hindu texts, and interfaith discussions.

2015 Bhajan Book

This book was put together by the Hindu Student Sangam and contains basic information about Hinduism as well as a compilation of the shlokas and bhajans we sing at meetings. Bhajans are written in both English and Sanskrit/Hindi, and contain English translations.

Temples in Chicago

• Shivalya Hindu Cultural Center
Located in Downtown Chicago, this temple is the closest to campus and is easily accesible by public transportation (take a bus or train downtown and then take the Brown Line to the Merchandise Mart Station; the temple is a short walk from there)
